After parking my motorhome last fall, this spring the generator starts and shuts off within 1 second. Pulled code # 27 which I understand to mean it doesn't see output voltage. Looking for some direction concerning this. Thanks in advance!

Some of the fault codes are misleading. If this is a diesel......is it a fixed speed unit or an inverter design/ variable speed unit? I am guessing it is a fixed speed style. It soundss like it lost AC output. First thing to try is shut off the breaker on the generator......if there is a short across the machines output from something in the MH, it will do exactly what it's doing. If the unit starts and shuts right off you might be able to get it to run by quickly pushing the run switch at the machine to off and then back to start/run. If it starts and stays running with a rapidly blinking red light.....it has lost AC output. I can't give you anymore info without knowing what model you have. Matt Schurman will be at M.G. this weekend and might be able to take a look for you. He runs S/G and has a red Beretta......
