Racers,
I know the steering damper kit is available from Ed Quay and that is a valid option. In addition, I would like to know of other options. If someone has photos of the install I would appreciate seeing them. I will consider building the brackets myself if I have some photos and know which shock/damper to use. Thanks in advance for your help.

I can't speak on the Ed Quay kit, but I have seen some some dampers that were done by some "big name" chasis guys that were basically dampers from a 70's aircooled VW beetle. If you are able to fabricate the brackets the dampers can be had for maybe $20. I got pretty involved in restoring a VW for my Daughter and was suprised to see a VW "piece" on my brothers SS car !
