You do not need to run the factory rocker bosses anymore, the rules are already changed to allow guide plates and studs. Refer to: Stock Cars Section 9A Engine: 1 Page 136 (05/08) Camshaft/Lifters: Delete last sentences of paragraph and replace with "Larger diameter pushrods permitted. Pushrod guide plates permitted. Cylinder head may be clearenced for larger diameter pushrods." ![]() |

Id rather see the LT1 Nova accepted rather than the Roush Mustang. They should let the Yenko/Moton/Dana Cars run AA/SA.

Original option sheet published by Yenko Chevrolet...funny thing is, aside from the "elaborate decals", the optional hood tach, and the emblems, everything else arrived on the cars from Chevrolet, and was straight regular production stuff...as a matter of fact, the 2 LT-1 Novas that went to Canada were equipped exactly the same as the Yenko Deuces, sans the stripes/emblems, and were sold through regular Chevrolet dealers north of the border...

Chevy 454; Please package all of your documentation and send it to me. I will contact GM, provide your info and ask them to apply for the inclusion of the Duece in the SCCG. It must be done this way; (protocal you know.) This sometimes is a slow process but now is a much better time to try than 1970; many things have changed in NHRA regarding this process.
My address is: Dr. Injector Shops Inc. 34703 16th Ave S. Federal Way, Wa. 98003 attn TT |
