Jim, the car Pete is running now, I believe, was bought at Loberg Olds in Renton when Bill worked there. I believe it is a regular car. Started life as 6 cylinder 3 speed. The clutch pedal is still under the dash. That's the story I got from Pete, he showed me the pedal.

The no Vin cars might have been the ones Bill, Pete and Dino ran back in the late 80's early 90's. They were all Cutlass 1989? models with 307 V8's.

Hopefully Wes Jr. will provide more detail.
Frank, the Dodge Mirada that my Father raced had a VIN that read CAR 006. This was hand built and had a lot of different features that the production Mirada's didn't. It was used as a test vehicle. Pops bought it out of Michigan from the Cousineau family. I believe it was one of the first MOPAR Super Stock GT Cars ever built. It was a great car !

The Cutlass that Chip Johnson is driving was a factory test car. It has no VIN plate.

Years ago, there were a lot of cars in Baltimore with no VIN numbers. That had nothing to do with Drag Racing. LOL!! More for pharmaceutical distribution. LOL!!

I believe that Charlene Gullet's car is a no vin tag car also. It was originally the Project 'O' car.

How many of the “No VIN” Oldsmobile Cutlass were offered? I remember a few in D1.
