Miller's book "Hook and Launch" might help you some. It is available at most of the big book stores and on the internet. He also sells a really good system for this type of car. Good luck and happy motoring.

street car huh, ok I'll play along.

My former Chevelle...

Original, OEM, factory body panels
Original, OEM, factory bumpers
Original, OEM, factory glass
Original, OEM, full factory interior
ALL DOT requirements fully functional...horn, wipers, parking brake, driving, braking, directional and backup lights.
All factory options fully functional...power steering, power brakes, tilt wheel, tach/gauges, radio, rear window defogger, heater/defroster.

Oh and the group 24 battery resides in the factory tray with the factory hold down, in the same location it rolled off the assemblyline

Lastly registered, licensed, insured and saw thousands, upon thousands of street miles in addition to 5000 passes on the track when my name was on the title for 27 years.

So what's your point?

Back to the op's question...
