brent, it seems to me you know the answer to your issue which is a different matter than your question. Over a year has past since you last asked about using/trying raidal slicks. It's obvious you want to try them, so do it, it's your $, your time and your car. Just know, not only do they require different air pressure from your bias slicks but also shock settings. Good luck.
Thanks 1320... as soon as i can free up some $, im goin to order a set...I know they work, i was just curious who was runnin' anything other than the Hoosier's, that seem to be so popular. Goodyear's seem to work well(Burton runs them), and some M/T's out there, as well... Im thinkin about the 92'' M/T, for 2 reasons. My car seemed to like the 9x28.5(90'') bias, real well, vs the 9x30bias(94'') and tire clearance was not an issue. So i figure the 92'' will work well, and dont see a problem with the 8.5'' tread, vs 9''.

Ed you really need to get over yourself man. Anyone and I mean anyone reading ANY of the threads you've replied to can without a doubt figure out who the all knowing one is. Hint LOOK IN THE MIRROR! Having am opinion on something is all well and good but insisting that you are the only one that knows the "correct" answer....well thats merely delusional. Again having a legal stocker and super stocker of course except for the SMALL detail of not having legal engines in either equals having 2 BRACKET CARS!!!!!!! NOT I repeat NOT legal class cars. Perhaps you're wasting your talents here trying to splain to a bunch of know nothings how to properly field an actual LEGAL class car and work on something that may bare more fruit like solving the whole Theory of relativity issue. Hey Albert Einstein may have been wrong too I'm sure there's a forum in serious need of your insight on the matter. Oh and say hey to 'em for us.Good day.

Mr 1320 you have made 3000 runs on radial tires that only pick you up a couple hun correct? Wouldn't you have saved yourself a ton of money by running bias ply tires for all those passes?Or do you get 200 runs on a set of the radials?

Mr. Lyn, first I stated I "never ran close to a tenth quicker". Next, I continue to run radial slicks because...

a. I can
b. they provide a more stable ride down track
c. they tighten up my lights
d. not concerned with "saving a ton of money"
