rediculous... Is there that many guys, who cant keep their collectors from coming off, to warrant something like this? My collectors have 2 tabs, per collector, with bolts, that will keep them from coming off... never had a problem... Jam nuts will cure this problem, not some costly device....

If anybody was at Atco a few years ago and saw the end result of a collector coming off a T/S car doing a burnout you'de understand the reasoning for having a collector retainer.Maybe not the crap that NHRA is going to implement though.

not totally familiar with what NASCAR uses but they use adjustable headers and the "spring type" retainer set up they use seems to solve their problem -- never have seen a collector come off and they run em 600 miles at 195 MPH for close to 5 hours ----may be a way to solve any potential problem
