I have heard form a reliable source the wobble comes from how the tire is built. When Brenda drove Pat Clifford's car earlier this year we put on a set of GDY radials, and the car ran faster at every increment down the track (same weight ). No hint of wobble. Call Brent in Daytona and talk with him.

I have both GY and MT radials mounted. Neither ever wobble. 31X13.5 GY, and 31.25X12.2R15W MT. Both sets on 15" wheels. Both like 15 to 17 psi. On my car the MTs are .05 to .07 quicker, and over 1/2 MPH faster. Both dead hook, but I think the difference is the 5 lb per tire heavier GY. I bought the GYs because of two guys telling me how much faster ther would be. Guess it depends on the car. My lights are the same with both. Now I have "bracket mode" and "heads-up mode" tires. LOL
