Well gents i already have a supergas car with a 555, and i also have a reher and morrison 565. With that being said i'm looking to get into stock. I already have parts for a 396/375 from heads block and other parts to complete that combo. I'm not into trying to keep up with the joneses. I simply think the small block combo may be better. And i have some buddies with a few of the heads in the nhra guide, which i can get my hands on. I want to put this together and learn. I'm not trying to set the world on fire or impress just race and have FUN! That's it.

Point I was making is there are some pretty fast E and F/SA cars in Div 7.
If you want to survive heads up races with them , you'll need a healthy piece.
If you want to guard against that , put a stick in it ...They're practically illegal out here.

I understand and that's really what i was thinking as well. There are some really fast cars in d7 in those classes. Doing what some all ways say do study the guide for best combo and work it. I always read your posts for a reason, a lot of info.

A "killer" Stocker engine can cost more than a 555+ S/G engine!
PM me with your contact info & I can offer help. I'm on vacation until 1st week in August so I can't return a call until then.

Actually a Stick in a 350/295 works !

Has a bit more RPM range than the 255.
