350/295 combo
Would this combo be worth trying in a 67 camaro in stock eliminator. And which head casting would be the best and which tranny combination stick or auto. I would like the pro's and con's please.
Thanks to all or any input or opinions. |
Re: 350/295 combo
Stick would be .15 -.20 faster, the powerglide makes this combo weak.
But on the flip side it is consistent with the glide, if you are willing to spend alot of money it will run. It will take alot of flogging and money. I like the 186 head. |

Yes, a stick is the way to go. It's a pretty good combination.

You'll need a killer Q-Jet, an Ashley or an Oliver will probably be your best bet, find 3-4 cores. Kevin and Scott Helms for a Jerico and associated parts, or Arnold Greene. |
Re: 350/295 combo
Gary and Tom Russell run the stick in F/S and have gone 10.90's but the 327 just got HP off and would also be a good combo .
I have a car for sale with the 350 combo . PM me for more info . Mike |
Re: 350/295 combo
Maybe I'm reading it wrong but the 327 275 is still NHRA rated at 274, same as before

Re: 350/295 combo
The 327-275 combo that was reduced was only for the auto class. In the classification guide it shows the Nova as only the auto getting the horespower reduction and the Camaro getting both but after contacting NHRA they confirmed that only the auto for both car was reduced by 4 horsepower and not the stick.

Re: 350/295 combo
hey Bob you are too fast to get any reduction, 10.90 in G/S is real fast with a 327 . WOW
