Why is his clutch better than the McLeod Softlock? Thank you for your help.

There are many reasons his clutch is better. Materials, different levers, customer service. He has a clutch dyno he checks setups with etc....etc...etc
It is like the difference between a Model T and a new Mustang

I have run soft locs. The bigest things on the AC for me are the levers working much better so it is easier to tune and the heat shields are thicker and more durable. You can call Rob from the track and he will pick up the phone too.

Rod

You don't have a good used clutch laying around. We are looking for one.

When was the soft lock brought to market? Then that's about when R&D stopped. It's a good product but advances have been made in all aspects of clutch technology.
His clutches are constantly being re-evaluated for improvements. Now the Pro Stock teams are calling him. I had two of the sportsman single 10" and now have a Sportsman dual 7" waiting for the new engine and chassis.
