Smile Re: 66 BelAir Stock Elim. Car

John the 427 390 HP is rated at 10.25 comp. with 96.4 c.c. oval port heads. It uses a Q Jet Carb and has a cast iron intake manifold. Not sure of the number as its not listed on my specs. (Might be the same as a 396/325 HP engine?) The bore is 4.250 and the stroke is 3.766. It has .008 deck and a dome piston of .140 thou. The legal piston numbers can be found on the NHRA piston list. The intake valve is 2.07 and the exhaust is 1.725. The cam lift is .462 intake and .480 exhaust. It uses an outer spring with dampner. Head gasket is .028 and the 7 different allowed head casting numbers are as follows.......702, 390, 802, 215, 063, 280, and 290. These are the last 3 numbers for each. Hope this helps.
