We run accumulators on both of our cars, and have the electric solenoid connected to the ignition switch on them both as well. The only con is the small amount of additional weight, but I think the pros greatly out-weigh that. With this setup, we always turn on the ignition switch and let the motors prime until the oil pressure falls back to 5-10psi before we fire the cars up each morning. And of course the motor gets a full prime everytime you go to start it up so it's just a great insurance for every bearing and lubed surface. Highly recommend these to anyone, it's a great investment!

How much additional oil do you need to run? 2 qts?
