Definitely not using a stock Ford intake for Super Stock.
A lot of super stock guys use custom made sheet metal intakes, but there are several single plane intakes available as well. Any carb is going to have to be massaged by someone This is just my opinion, but if you start with a new quick fuel or a Holley 600, I think you would end up about the same place performance wise.
