Re: NHRA rod acceptance
If it were I, I would call NHRA, probably Wesley or Bob Lang. I would fax over to him the spec's of the rod your interested in and compare it to the data NHRA has on their web page. Ask him "if I send you a rod and it matches these specifications, will you approve it?" Just tell him it's sensless to go out and buy rods on the hope and prayer he will approve it. At tis point a gentlemans agreement should be reached and then go buy your rod(s) and follow thru with your commitment to NHRA.
I've gotten rods approved before but it was before NHRA had these tables so maybe now it is more difficult as indicated by Alan.
