Default Manley 10° +.050" locks poor qa/qc ???

Has anyone else noticed the Manley 13198 (11/32" stem, 10°, +.050" installed height, machined steel) valve locks come out anywhere from .065" to .073" additional installed height ?? A far cry from the specified +.050" additional????

Not only is the fact that they are that far off somewhat concerning, but the variance from .065" to .073" between locks in one package scares me... If the two locks installed a valve are not exactly the same dimensions, one of the locks will have almost all of the spring load on its groove rather than shared between the two
