Don't know if it's been posted before--when I lived in Roswell N.M. a friend had a '69 Falcon 429SCJ-4-spd. car. He said he ordered it locally with the usual deletes, rubber mat & bench seat. He claims he was told Ford had this stuffed in their order books way in the back as a "lightweight" version of a Torino for those that wanted to race that body style but didn't want all the extras that added weight & bring it down in class. I think it was something like D/S & ran pretty well, but was one rattlely SOB.

Actually, it would have been a 1970 Falcon, which looked like the all new 70 Torino, except the Falcon was a bare bones 2 door sedan, rather than the hardtop. They did build a few, but I doubt that many are still around now.
