Is the 140 motor rated 190, as the 1988 Fords are? Minimum weights would be 3,210 for P/SA; 3,400 for Q/SA and 3,590 for R/SA.
Mike:
Yes, '87 and '88 models are the same.

I had thought about changing the hood and front nose and running it as a 5.0 HO since the Mustang engine is legal in the T-Birds.

question: When the car rolls across the scales at a NHRA event for a Q/SA car, is it weighed with me in it ? ....and with me in it, does the total must be at least 3,400 lbs ? ....or is it a minimum 3,400 lbs without driver ?

Thanks
