Thumbs up Re: Engine shipping

i just used a company called u-ship to send a transmission and converter from jersey to florida and it could not have been easier, and the cost was far better than any freight company could match!!

Contact Mark Kirby at Lynn Traffic Service, Inc.

He is a racer and also a member in this site.
I have shipped a few engine blocks through him and his service is exceptional. and prices are the best.

Mark can be reached at (661) 589-5749.

http://www.highwayfreight.com/

I have used this company 4 or 5 times and they seem to do a really great job.

If we have someone on our forum than give them a shot at it.

I know Greg Gay, who is a member on here, ships engines also. He's an owner of BDR Tranport.

Just get it in a crate and call BDR/Greg Gay and stop shopping, if it's on the wast coast. I think they have a hub in or near Modesto.

Terminal to terminal is much cheaper, if you can arrange it. It will have to be crated. I have used ForwardAir several times in the past for engines and shortblocks with much satisfaction.
