looking at some old NHRA records, it looks like a typical 13.00 1/4 ET translated to low 8's and the speed is about 20 - 23 mph different.

1/8 mile et and multiply x 1.54696 = 1/4 mile et ...it is close but not perfect.............

Mines pretty close to 1.59, although it definitely depends on the wind. The type of car will affect it too, sticks will run the backhalf better, as will more aerodynamic cars, etc.

I am sure that is true. After running both 1/4 and 1/8 adjust the formula to better fit your car. There are so many other factors involved you will never get it right on but it is still a good indicator when testing on an 1/8 mile track.
