Question 350/295 combo

Would this combo be worth trying in a 67 camaro in stock eliminator. And which head casting would be the best and which tranny combination stick or auto. I would like the pro's and con's please.
Thanks to all or any input or opinions.

Stick would be .15 -.20 faster, the powerglide makes this combo weak.
But on the flip side it is consistent with the glide, if you are willing to spend alot of money it will run. It will take alot of flogging and money.
I like the 186 head.

Yes, a stick is the way to go. It's a pretty good combination.

Woodro Josey in Georgia, or Jimmy Bridges in Tennessee for cylinder heads.

You'll need a killer Q-Jet, an Ashley or an Oliver will probably be your best bet, find 3-4 cores.

Kevin and Scott Helms for a Jerico and associated parts, or Arnold Greene.
