I got these headers and other parts with a 57 chevy. I dont know what they fit. Looks like the are stepped from 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 to 2 inch. The have the bungs I guess for egt sensors in each tube. I will probably try and sell them because I dont think I can use them. Let me know if you think you know what car them might fit.

Look like Schoenfeld G-body headers that have had primaries extended. Part number 185v. JMT.

I would agree that the passenger side header looks like a large tube Camaro/Nova/G-Body piece......

i have looked at the pics several times. i looked at my car last night, i'm pretty sure these are 66-67 chevelle headers. the tube location and how they are paired at the collector are just like mine. some companys put a part number on the top of one of the flanges, after coating, it gets harder to read. good luck,

Thanks for repling guys. I looked at the Shoenfeld headers. The one drivers side header look similar but not the passenger side. I tried to look up davis headers but I didnt come up with a web site. Does Davis have one? I wish I could use them. They are really nice made headers.
Yes James, I'm on Long Island. Wade, whos headers do you have? Last edited by L79racer; 10-19-2007 at 06:59 PM. |

I have a set that look identical to those. No markings on them. I bought them advertised as being for a G-body.
They do not fit an early (64) Chevelle, or my 81 G-body. I would be interested to know what yours end up going to. Jeff |

Jeff, if you can, post a couple of pictures of your headers. I dont think they are home made. They look to good and look like they were made with a jig. I hope somebody can figure out who makes them.

Vinny,
Can't post pics-not sure why..... After looking at mine, the tubes for cylinders 5 and 6 come back farther toward the firewall on mine than yours do. This was the place they hit in the cars I have tried. I also tried a 67 Camaro-no luck. Mine are stepped 1 5/8 to 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 with a 3.5 inch collector. I would sell mine as well, if I could figure out what they fit..... Jeff 6990 SS/MA 64 Chevelle Wagon Last edited by Jeff Goss; 10-19-2007 at 09:45 PM. Reason: try to post pics |
