Starting the task of wiring my car, has anyone had issues with running crank trigger wiring along with the electric fan and water pump wires. Going to chase it thru the frame rail. Thanks Tom

They sell a shielded, (grounded) wire so you can do that, I use that, but i still keep that wire separate from all others, especially electrical motors ie. fans and pump, lots of rfi there.

We ran our trigger wires through brake tubing under the hood. The tubing, because it is stiffer, allows you to take what ever path you want (you can route it neatly). We have used it for years with no problems. Ray

Try this. I installed this when I up graded to the MSD Grid system. Removes any electrical noise interference.

I have my fan, water pump, and alternator wires bundled together and running along the intake manifold where it meets the passenger cylinder head. My throttle stop wires and crank trigger pickup are not part of the bundle, but run right along with that bundle on the same path.
I'm not going to tell you it is a recommended practice or even a good thing to do, but I have never had an issue with it (that I know of).
