What kind of horsepower does it take to get a 3400lb Stocker into the low 10's and maybe into the 9's in good air?

Takes close to 580/600 Hp to get our SS to run those numbers.
We do not have any Stockers that weigh that than can do those numbers We run nearly exclusively = Engines that are under 350 CID and Mopar to boot at that.

To get in the 9.90's. I would say you would need to average over 600 hp. across the range.

I have seen this mentioned a number of times and am curious about what factors contribute to an engine's ability to carry HP past peak. Rick Thomason GTOMayhem |
