I'm running a 97 LT1 Firebird in stock. If I was to run Superstock how well would a stocker chassis work with a transbrake on 9" radial tires? Anybody out there doing this? Thanks Tony

You would need to likely make a few changes if you go the transbrake route as you obviously would be going from loaded chassis to unloaded at launch. 9 inch radial tires might prove problematic for a transbrake hit, just like they are for stick cars. Eric

I run my Drag Pak in Super Stock, 9" radial tire and a transbrake. No issues with my car.

I run a 9" radial tire and a transbrake. No problem if the track is "preped" ....

My concern would be spinning on a marginal track. If you are running a heavier class in SS (such as SS/KA with this combo), I feel like they would probably work because you have the ability to move a bunch of weight around.
