Default Tool steel lifters

Had problems with shubeck lifters (Lifter puck desintregated on dyno 2 times). Customers wants to run tool steel lifters in a 64 MaxWedge426. How much spring pressure should I run with them? Thank's!

With the correct tool steel lifter, and camshaft, with the correct surface treatment, you can run as much as 550 open pressure.

Do not, under any circumstances, run a DLC coated tool steel lifter on a cast iron core camshaft.
