When measuring from the trans pan flange, what trans fluid level is best with a Metric 200 with a deep pan?

I always run ours about 1 qt. low when cold. That equates to about 1/2 qt. low when hot. Those things are bad about puking fluid out if they are full.

I got on the T-A web site and it calls for about 5/16" down from the pan rail and it says you might have to remark aftermarket dip sticks"this would explain why my 2 dipsticks have different levels" Thanks for the info Jim Kaekel !!!
