Diaper same deal, break point is 135...under and you're good 'by the rulebook'; speaking of, with a number you can go onto NHRA.com and create a password and then be able to have a PDF or E-Book of the Rulebook. My 2C is put a diaper on if at all practical even if not required.
Just because you're not required to have a cage with a stock firewall doesn't mean any official might interpret a window net requirement a bit different than what the lady in CA indicated...I'd put in a window net and save some future hassles.

Check out all the SST cars running under 135, many do not have diapers...for the time being 135 is the break point for license, chassis cert, diapers, gloves, etc etc....135 is where you have to have a legal SG car (plus the weight of course) to run SST.

Does fuel pump cutoff have to be at Back near cell or inside the car? Sorry to sound stupid but I don't have a rulebook and can't download until I get a membership # Chip |

If you have a fuel cell, make sure it has a ground strap.

Gary,
Thanks for the info. That is what I thought. I,m officially a card carrying member of the NHRA again. I've already figured out not to call Cali for anything. LOL Chip |
