Stick car Question?
Hey guys, got a quick question bout tire pressure.
My mustang weighs 2995 with me in it, I run a 26x10x15 Et Drag, Mild 302, Stock T-5 tranny, ford HD clutch, 8.8 rear with 4.30 gears. Well the car seems to hook pretty decent but im worried Im not running enough tire pressure. I run them right aorund the 9 lbs mark and they seem to squish right down to the rim. I got one guy tellin me not to worry thats the way they work, and then a couple tellin me to run them at 11-12 im stumped! |

Are you asking if 9lbs. is unsafe or will your car pick up with more pressure? Only experimentation will answer the last question. I've went as low as 6lbs in some tires before.

I agree, put more in until you 60 starts to go away. with that tire and my automatic, I ran up to 16 lbs.
