WEIGHT
All cars will be permitted to run on the class minimum weight, but may be no heavier
than the minimum for the next heavier class. Car can move up (lighter) one class or
down (heavier) one class. If weight is added, must be properly attached; see BALLAST.
Class and classification weight are determined without driver weight. Once classification
weight is calculated, 170 pounds is added for driver to arrive at total weight. All cars are
weighed with driver.

HOLY COW! They actually did this?! I've been running that one up the flagpole for two years now! Good, common sense rule. -=applause!=- Thank you, NHRA!
Re: AAF/S.... uh, why don't they create some realistic weight breaks for the FWD classes instead of tacking onto the top? It's not like there are no letters in the alphabet past "E".

While the "big cars" fight full-pound weight breaks because they'd have to "carry so much weight", what about the weight difference between DF/S and EF/S... 2,241 vs 2,895. 650LBS? SERIOUSLY?!
