Flywheels has little bit of glaze from clutch disc went bad

Had a clutch disc go bad it made some glaze on the flywheel nothing bad. Would it be alright to use some sand paper to knock it off? orbital sander?

Also with a diaphram set up how much clearance between the throw-out bearing and fingers? 1/4?

My advise would be to remove the flywheel and have a machine shop take a light cut to remove any glazing or heat spots. That way you know for sure the flywheel is flat and you won’t be doing it over because the clutch chatters or has other issues. 1/4” sounds about right on the clearance.
