94 inch circumference Hoosier tires.
Anybody ever switched from 94 inch rollout to 92 inch tires rear tires? How much rpm change did you notice? Was it a good change or bad change. Any et change? My combo is LT1.

I do occasionally, 92.5" to 94" Hoosiers. About 150 RPM higher with the shorter tires.

Just looking to see how close theory comes to actual measured results. ► 9250 RPM * (94 / 92.5) = 9400 RPM Stan |
Re: 94 inch circumference Hoosier tires.
I have a LT1 car. When I originally built it I thought I wanted the biggest tire I could fit. So I put the 94” on it. I’ve since been told I should have the 92.5” with my 4.88 rear gear. So I’m switching.

have changed 92" to 94" many times, on two stockers, I and J auto, adds up to 200 rpm in the traps with 4.86 gear. Glen H 1257

Re: 94 inch circumference Hoosier tires.
Hoosier Rep told me a rule of thumb is 100 rpm for every
Inch of roll out. So 92 - 94 2 inch difference 200 rpm Looks like from the other posts he was correct |
