Wheelie Bars?
What does everyone like for wheelie bars on their leaf spring cars? I haven’t had much luck with a set from Calvert. It seems like as soon as the bars hit it wants to push the back of the car up and unload the rear tire. This is a Camaro on split mono leaves with a Ford 9” rear.

Re: Wheelie Bars?
You need a good set of front shocks to control the rate and height of the front end.

May want to consider raising the the bars up a little at a time until the 60’ slow down. Just a thought.

Re: Wheelie Bars?
I like a set with some springs on them to give a little cushion when they hit the surface. Competition Engineering has a decent set that I use on my 1973 Formula with leaf springs.

Move weight forward, a little at a time and firm up the rear shocks.

Re: Wheelie Bars?
Just to put a period on this, I ended up with a set of bars from Ken Keir. These things are a work of art, but more importantly, the customer service was outstanding. Both Ken and Ronnie Johnson patiently answered all the questions I had, and made me feel as if I was their only customer. I would highly recommend to anyone needing these types of products or services.
