which radiator
Hello, i have a 67 camaro stocker, and going to bye a aluminium radiator, so...i think of a direct fit with a fan. Are there any brand who are better then others? And can i use a two row radiator if i have a small block engine?

Use the one that is the lightest when full of water.

Re: which radiator
I went to the local chain parts store and ordered a replacement radiator for a six cylinder for my year. Single core aluminum with plastic tanks. About a hundred bucks. Perfect fit. Car runs as cool as it did with the factory radiator and I lost five pounds off the front of the car. Ow if I could get the driver to lose a few pounds!

Re: which radiator
For a Stocker , Id use a 2 row from Champion Radiators.
They have a direct fit model . |
Re: which radiator

Re: which radiator
My car was an original 1970 6 cylinder automatic. So that’s what I ordered. Perfect fit and I think the car runs cooler!

Re: which radiator
tolass,
I had a 67 that I bracket raced for years. I am not sure what you guys are allowed to do as far as modifications but somewhere along the line I installed a radiator out of around an 85 Camaro. Aluminum radiator with plastic tanks with the attached shroud / electric fan combination. It was very light and worked fine cooling an approx 550 hp small block. I had to do a slight modification to the core support because it was a little wider than the stock radiator but it was nothing major. |
