Which battery?
When using 2 batteries on a stocker (one in the front and one in the rear) does it matter which one is the main battery?

Re: Which battery?
I believe it states the one in the front must start the car.

Not mentioned in the category rules nor the general regulations.

Re: Which battery?
Since I only run the front battery, I have no dog in this fight.
But I am curious how those who are running two batteries, have them wired. Since the rules require a master shut off switch when you have a rear battery & the master switch must shut down the entire electrical system, how do you wire the batteries with one in front and one in the rear? My guess is: Front battery: negative cable to frame & positive cable running to the rear of the car to connect to master switch Rear battery: negative cable to frame & positive cable to master switch And then another long cable to get the master switch power back up to the starter |
