Header stains

Had a valve cover gasket leak oil on one of my headers. What do you guys use to remove the stains? Headers are coated. Thanks, Doug

Re: Header stains

NitroPlate uses Meguiars aluminum polish. It normally removes most small, light, or mild stains. If that will not remove the stains, they may be so deep in the coating that they cannot be removed.

Re: Header stains

I found some stainless steel polish that worked pretty good with just a rag. Still had to rub some but not bad. I will get some maguirs. Thanks for the response
