Any one here try a MSD PROGRAMMABLE DIGITAL 6
How did it work? Any thing to gain on a stock eliminator car with this? |

Re: Msd programmable digital 6
I went from an old early 7-AL to the digital -6 and believe I picked up a little. It has built in start retard and best of all it uses rotating pots to set rev- limiters, both top end and launch so you don't have to mess with all the chips. If I remember correctly it has a lower minimum voltage than the others to function correctly.
Personally I like it and have had several other change over. P.S. The 6 is non programmable which make it legal. Jim |

Re: Msd programmable digital 6
I may be out of the loop on this, but from what I remember, the we cannot run the 7531 or any box that has the slew rate controller as it is deemed as traction control. I haven't looked for an updated list lately.
I used to run the Digital 6 Plus and it worked flawlessly - I'm currently putting one in the super stock car once I ever get it finished! Tim |
