2 step question?

Can anyone help explain to a newbie what the 2 step is and how it works? Thanks

Re: 2 step question?

it is used on the starting line...when the button is hit it drops the rev limiter to a lower RPM. that lets you set on the starting line wide open then when the button is released it switches back to high end rev limiter.

Can anyone tell me if the MSD 2 step with the dial in launch control is legal in stock. Or does it have to be only controlled by plug in chips?

Re: 2 step question?

Any way of adjusting is allowable. The rule states it must be out of the reach of the driver.

I guess technically it's a 3 step. Is that still acceptable?

I have mine hooked to the factory brake light switch. Work very well connected there, except when I redlight.....

Re: 2 step question?

I have a question about using the two step for a burnout limit in stock eliminator. If I have my linelock button on the shifter, am I not allowed to hook the two step up to this. I think I know what the answer will be since the rule book says two step must be foot activated, but I just wanted to see what I could do with it. I don't "use" it to do the burnout, but it's nice just in case my foot gets heavy. Thanks
