2009 NHRA Sportsman Schedule

Does someone have a link or old copy of the rotation for SC at the NHRA Nationals for 2009?
Thanks

Re: 2009 NHRA Sportsman Schedule

The original release stated a 5 year rotation, according to that, this is how the rotation would fall.
The Carolina race was not there (for obvious reasons)

Since the original 5 years have passed, the boys in the booth may be re-assessing the rule.

Re: 2009 NHRA Sportsman Schedule

I was told by a NHRA employee in the staging lanes between rounds at the Memphis race that in 2009 all classes would run at the National Events and it would be announced by years end.
Not sure about Alcohol and Comp but the other categories are not being rotated out.
Just Another Rumor but it did come from a NHRA full time employee.

Does that count for Super Street?

Re: 2009 NHRA Sportsman Schedule

Super Street was not mentioned specifically.
The conversation started when some of us were talking about the small turnout at Memphis.
There was only 53 S/G cars in first round. When the NHRA employee standing there heard the conversation they mentioned the change for 2009.
The word was the rotation was for a 5 year period and when it expired it was going away.
No new rotation would be issued and the announcment would come by years end.
Just what I was told.

The rotation was for 5 years, and this was the 5th year. I haven't heard anything as to whether or not they'll start the rotation over again. If it was my call, I'd go back to running all 5 classes and have SST at two national events per year per division where applicable.
