Re: Woodfin's 4th gen Camaro no-box package
Dave I'll second that about Woodfin getting things done. While I have been knee deep in just one street rod build, Woodfin has turned out a completed Super Stock truck that has several race outings and then he started this project! AND besides making things happen he is also a class act :D!

Larry,
They make these neat panels for these cars to close up the firewall: http://umiperformance.com/catalog/in...roducts_id=549 |
Re: Woodfin's 4th gen Camaro no-box package
That delete panel is a nice part but a piece of aluminum and a jig saw work too. Bracket cars are usually budget builds. I put all my cash in my motor and drive train and made everything else in my garage.
My buddy told me I should buy a better bracket for my alternator to take the stress off my aluminum head. Instead of buying one for $150 or more I built a brace for $11. Dale |
Re: Woodfin's 4th gen Camaro no-box package
Larry, Are you going to build that Super Stock legal chassis and bracket race it?

Re: Woodfin's 4th gen Camaro no-box package
The plan is not yet finalized. The most practical and versatile plan is to build it SS legal to give more options. Yet, I am not always practical with my plans ---
Another option is building it to be a stocker platform. This project is back burner simmering for a while other projects take precedence. Having it stripped down has allowed me to see the options and potential. It will become the correct package at the correct time. |
