There's surely not enough correct original 265/283/327 blocks to go around for the new "old" stocker demand.....the aftermarket block boys are licking their chops....It's ALL about money, once again... :rolleyes: WJ

and it had a Bendix EFI as a option same type unit a option on 57 Chrysler 300C

Just when I was thinking about selling my '58 Pontiac Chieftan with the 370 and tri-power. used to be killer cars in D/sa back in the day.

Wonder where it would fall today?

Jerry Ryan don't you have one of your 50's stockers sitting around that you are working on? Will we see it with the new rule changes?

265 and 283's can be make out of '62-'67 327 blocks by sleveing them.
Had a fellow running a S/S '56 tell me 'it was a poor man's bow tie block' when I asked him how he was able to still find usable 265 blocks.
