NHRA Kansas Nationals, Heartland Park Topeka – Winners

 

Competition:

Lou Ficco gets the win with a starting line advantage over Doug Engels. Lou had .021 light and .510 under his index to put away Doug’s .115 light and .535 under his index. Lou now has two NHRA National even wins.

 

Super Stock:

peery

Pete Peery takes on Dan Fletcher in the final. Dan gives the stripe back by.002 giving Pete his 3rd NHRA National event win. Pete’s .042 light and .016 over was good enough to take out Dan’s .013 light and .047 over.

 

Stock:

williams

Austin Williams gets back to back wins at the Kansas Nationals. Austin makes it tough on Darrel Goheen with a .010 light to Darrel’s .065. Austin now has eight NHRA National event wins, 7 of them coming in Stock.

 

Super Comp:

tommy

Tommy Phillips has great light with an .014 and was .019 over giving him the win over Steve Collier’s also great light .008. Steve’s .031 over gave Tommy all he need in the finals. Tommy has 32 National event wins, 17 on them in Super Comp.

 

Super Gas:

rustin

Rustin Mayse .036 light and .010 over made the final as close as you can get with a .002 margin of victory. Graig Anderson had the better light with a .016, but good not run close enough to get the win. Rustin wins his 3rd NHRA National event.

 

Super Street:

paul

Paul Winkelbauer’s .022 package takes outs an equal tough .031 package by Greg Parson. Paul’s .006 light to Greg’s .022 gave Paul the .009 margin of victory. This is Paul’s first NHRA National event win.
