Default New to the sport

Building a stock eliminator car starting with a 1969 Barracuda notch back, looking for a good combination, maybe something nobody has tried..thanks for any help

Well, the 318/230/172 looks pretty good. I guess it will all depend on how fast you want to go and what you're willing to spend. There's a couple out there but not many.

Where are you located? Probably more experienced MOPAR owners around than you might expect. As usual Billy is spot on and you’ll need a master to work on the Carter two barrel.

Im in New Brunswick canada, I was looking at that combo 318 230..I think that would be O/S

Natural P car. Move up to O ( not recommended) , or down to Q (recommended)

You might want to reach out to Mark Howes, they live just north of Saint John, and have small block experience.

Or just jump in with both feet and build the 440/375 rated at 345hp.

'69 Barracuda is a great choice, 318, 340, 383 and 440 are all good combinations.

I just got done building one last summer with a 340. I install a roll cage, this is with no driver and no extra ballast. Pretty light car
