Why would NHRA not allow ALL Stock Eliminator cars who register, to the event, and then qualify them down to the number(s) they want/like; say 50,60 or what ever.
I suppose the same could be said for all sportsmen classes. In the "PRO" classes they take all comers, then qualify them down to the 16 or what ever. Just a thought. |

Maybe track facility parking too..... not enough room for say 128 stockers.

They only have enough room for so many rigs at each track. Rigs have gotten a lot bigger over the years. Pros have to have a lot more room than they use too.
