Default ASRA Sunday May 20 L.V.

The All Star Racing Association kicks off the 2007 season this Sunday at Lebanon Valley Dragway. Gates open at 8am and TT start at 10am. Membership dues are $350 with $25 of that going into the Shootout Fund.

As always all legal Stk and SS cars are welcome. Membership is optional, but the membership payout is double the non member, makes you eligable to earn points and if you make the top 16 after our first 5 races you earn a spot in the Shootout.

See you all on Suuuunnnndddddaaaayyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!

George,

Tell Howard to bring the sweatshirts-it's going to be cool (should be fast) and I need a large. See you Sunday, although I'd prefer to be racing in TN.

Won't make this weekend, they expect me to work or something. Looking forward to the races June 2-3 in Epping though.

Looking forward to another season of ASRA stock/super stock racing.

There are however some questions to be answered

Will 1/2 of the racers stay home and play weatherman as the rest of us actually go to the first race of the season under threatening skies and complete the race like last year ?

Will the carnage continue as ASRA racers run down innocent wildlife seaching for nuts on the 1/4 mile asphalt ?

Will ASRA need to rule as NASCAR and NHRA have on the number of cars a team may field ? certainly we need to keep an eye on the expanding Diamond RV team

Will the younger generation kick our collective butts again or will the veterans win some races and the points championship ?

Can we have even more fun, laughs, good racing, camaraderie etc ,than ever before, I know we will.

Can't wait to see you all

Dave

LOL. Priceless. If this keeps up, P.E.T.A. will be protesting our races outside the gates.

And the rumor going 'round is that Marc bought a years worth of Waffle House breakfast meals down in Virginia, and is keeping them in his new motorhome for each race weekend.

On a sadder note for Marc, the Yankees are 9 1/2 games behind the Red Sox.

Normally I would say that the above facts would be grounds to keep Marc away from sharp objects, but after that Virginia win, well ,,, I am not sure his feet have touched the ground yet.

Billy, You keep him busy Sunday and i will search that motorhome for the lucky breakfasts. and yes I will share them with you even if i need them more than you champ
