Hi, I have made a number of revisions to that original article. I had a bunch of stuff incorrect, which is not surprising given the lack of real information that they can give out.

Revised version of What We Know About the Offer to Purchase New England Dragway

Yesterday's vote is great news.. I'd like to remind folks that NED was built "By Racers, For Racers".. what a great concept.. just the fact that there are SHAREHOLDERS WITH VOTES make it an impressive deal.. the founding fathers of NED got it right...

It seems that most local tracks are either family owned, or owned by one person.. most decisions are probably made around the dinner table, and of course, family looks out for family, and the racing family might come next.. MIGHT!!

The shareholder concept is an excellent manner in which the racing family can be protected, and before losing any more of our local tracks, we all should consider applying the shareholder concept.. we all know people who know people.. JUST SAYIN'!!!!

To the best of my knowledge, these shares can not be traded or sold, I think they can only be handed down to relatives when a shareholder passes. It is definitely not like the stock market., I am sure someone here knows the rules.

Just saw a post on the book of faces about this. That’s good news. But like the post read. Good news on the east coast. But bad news on the west. I guess Fontana has been closed due to Covid. They announced its now permanently closed. Hope that’s not true. But the guy that posted it was David Freiburger. So I’d kind of think it’s reliable. That sucks for you guys out there.
