Re: 2022 Lucas Oil Schedule
From what I've heard there will be a decent amount of Opens next season (7 I believe). I just wish they would bring back the points series, gives you something to shoot for, maybe split it for those who don't want to drive to Canada but, I know that is all based on sponsors.

Re: 2022 Lucas Oil Schedule
I see that Tucson doesn't have a Div 7 race scheduled. Anyone know what's going on there? I know the track prep/maintenance there has gone south.

Re: 2022 Lucas Oil Schedule
Guessing they lost a bunch of $$$ on the one they had this season, but the schedule didn't do them any favors coming the weekend following the double in Vegas.

Re: 2022 Lucas Oil Schedule
Just like anything the events need to make money and if they don't it's a wasted weekend for the tracks. I don't know what the breakdown if for what NHRA gets and what the track gets but, without Alky cars there it's hard to pack the stands with just Comp, Stock/SS, Top and .90 Cars especially when they can pack it 10 deep at the fence with a Street Outlaws event or an Import event. I mean besides NED here in D1 not many other tracks pack the place for a D1 race, so the tracks need to hope they get 400-500 cars.
