Default Thinking of dipping my toes in TD

After a few years off, we bought a new dragster and are thinking of trying out T/D. We know we are under powered to begin with and will be working on that over the next year. We have a new 2015 Mullis 245 4 link car, and we put our 540 in it as this was the only power plant we had left. We are hopeful the car will run close to the 7.70 maximum dial needed, and are planning on adding a little spray to get us closer to the 7.0 mark. We are in D2 where it is not uncommon at most divisionals to not get a full field, so fairly sure we wont have an issue there. Our plan is to step up after a bit to a 632 again with some spray to put us in the 6 second zone. We were contemplating just running S/C but not sure I want to bother with the throttle stop, and the learning curve of it all with a new car.
