2011 Big Buck Bracket Bash
- Event to take place on June 3, 4 and 5, 2011 at Miramichi Dragway Park, Miramichi, New Brunswick; - Three classes: Box, No-Box and Junior dragster; - $150 entry fee for Box vehicles, $150 entry fee for No-Box vehicles and a $50 entry fee for Junior dragsters. Fees include, vehicle and driver. Crew members are subject to normal gate fees; - Pre-registration is required in the Box, No-Box classes. Further details to follow. Entry forms will be available through martimedragracing.com; - With two 128 car fields, the Box and No-Box classes will each receive $10,000 for first place; $5,000 for the runner up; the non advancing semi-finalists will be paid $500; non advancing quarter finalist will be paid $250; the remaining non advancing top 16 will be paid $100. Less then 128 entries will result in a decrease in payout money. Junior dragsters will receive 100% payout of entry fees collected, with the number of places paid based on the number of entrants; - No-Box cars will be eligible for both classes; - Two rounds of qualifying for each class on Friday, June 3rd will determine placings on the ladder for the main event on Saturday, June 4th; - The event will not be cancelled only delayed; - Final call on the weather forecast will be made on Thursday, June 2, 2011, at noon, with alternate dates tentatively scheduled for June, 10-12th; - Junior program will be included on Saturday, June 4th; - Trophies/plaques will be awarded to the top 16 in the Box, No Box classes.
