FFW combo race
Bill Alexander, of Fun Ford Weekend, has asked me to get some input about a potential SC/SG combo race for his FFW Event @ Fontana Oct. 19-21. He had a S/SS deal last year, and along with another one this year, is interested in a SC/SG race. He would like to know if there would be any interest. It's the weekend before Vegas, and last year, it seemed to affect the S/SS turnout.
The main question is how to run the cars. Do you just run the cars with a staggered tree, or would it be better to come up with a happy medium, such as 9.40?? You can e-mail me - cford3963@esagelink.com or Bill Alexander - ffwevents@bellsouth.net

Re: FFW combo race
If anyone is interested, you can go to funfordevents.com, click on the "Battle of The Brands" picture, and all info comes up. All regular bracket races are open to all brands.

Re: FFW combo race
Charlie, I would say run them till there is one SG and one SC car left and then have a run off with a 1 sec. stager in the tree. Jerry Debusk and I did a series a few years back and this is how it worked. Hope this helps, Mike
